"What do you have in your house"

When Guille Peralez saw the silent struggles of the women of the Rio Grande Valley, poverty, isolation, abuse, she wondered what she could do to help them, when so little was available.  Then God brought her to 2 Kings 4:2, the story of Elijah and the widow.  Seeing a woman who had lost her husband to death and was soon to lose her sons to debtors, Elijah asked a simple question:  "Tell me, what do you have in your house?"  God took what little the widow had, a jar of olive oil and used it pay their debt and enable them to support themselves in the future.  Guille realized that God was able to take the little that these women had and what little she could offer and multiply it to do amazing things.  With God's help and your generous donations she has been able to establish a program that helps these women live a better life.
